Pressed Into Pearl

Soft words for becoming, healing, and returning to yourself.

I want to be honest with you about something before we talk about refunds.
The Pearl Method is not a product you order and return if it does not fit. It is a personal transformation journey — and transformation, by its very nature, requires your commitment as much as mine.
I invest myself fully in every client who walks through my door. I read every message personally. I show up. I bring everything I have built through a lifetime of real experience, not theory.
This policy exists not to trap you, but to be honest with you about what this relationship is — and what it is not.
If you have concerns before you commit, please reach out first. My door is genuinely open. It is far better to have that conversation before you begin than after.

In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, if you purchased your programme in response to direct marketing — including via email, social media, or any unsolicited communication — you have the right to cancel your purchase within 5 (five) business days of the date of purchase, without reason and without penalty.
To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within those 5 business days at:
[enter email address]
If your cancellation falls within this window, a full refund will be processed within 15 business days of receiving your written notice.
This cooling-off right does not apply if you voluntarily initiated contact with us and specifically requested to enter into the agreement.
Once you have been granted access to your programme — including any onboarding materials, welcome communications, scheduled sessions, or community access — the following applies:
No refunds will be issued once the programme has commenced.
This applies to both the 3-month and 6-month transformation programmes.
The reason is straightforward: once I begin working with you, I have committed my time, my energy, and my full personal investment to your journey. That commitment cannot be returned.
What I can offer instead, if something is not working, is a conversation. If you are struggling, if life has changed, if the programme is not meeting your needs — please come to me directly. I will always try to find a way forward that serves you.
Life happens. I understand this more than most.
If you are facing a genuine personal crisis — serious illness, bereavement, or a significant life event — please contact me directly. Requests to pause a programme will be considered on a case-by-case basis at my sole discretion.
A pause is not a right, but it is a conversation I am willing to have.
If I am unable to fulfil my obligations to you — due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or any reason on my side — you will receive a pro-rata refund for any portion of the programme not yet delivered.
In this event, I will notify you as soon as possible and we will agree on an appropriate resolution together.
If you are on a monthly payment plan for the 6-month programme:
I ask that before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider, you contact me directly first at [hello@thepearlmethod.co.za].
Every dispute raised without prior contact will be contested, and this policy will be submitted as evidence of the agreed terms at the time of purchase.
I would always rather resolve something directly and humanly than through a bank dispute process. That is not who either of us wants to be in this.
If The Pearl Method offers any standalone digital products — guides, workbooks, or downloadable resources — these are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, as they constitute the delivery of digital content.
To submit a refund request that falls within the cooling-off period:
Cooling-Off Cancellation — [Your Full Name]Refunds that are approved will be processed to your original payment method within 15 business days.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be referred to the relevant consumer tribunal or court of competent jurisdiction within South Africa.
If anything here is unclear, or if you want to talk before you commit — please reach out.
